Primary 4: Handball Festivals and more!

This week has been especially eventful. Some of us went to the P4 Handball Festival at Craigswood Sports Centre. The children who went to the festival has lots of fun and although we didn’t win every match we learned a lot and made some new friends from other schools in our cluster.

In our Art Appreciation lessons we learned about different lines and how artists use them. We have continued to explore Van Gogh’s painting Starry Night.

The poetry competition was lots of fun: everyone in the class had learned a poem and entered the competition and it was really hard to pick our finalists. Emma, Leah and Chidera went through to the final and they all represented the class excellently with beautiful recitation of their chosen poems. .

We have continued our Science topic about Water and used our homework research in class to help us work out what areas of our lives use the most water.
