· Display has been completed · Some Makaton signs have been recorded and are displayed in the school (Corridor, office and display in the lunch hall). |

· Discussed the display – children are happy with it · Renewed the list of children that are happy to be recorded for the sign of the month videos · Assembly – group not coming up for songs o Feedback – Mr O’Neil isn’t asking the group o Some children aren’t confident coming up in front of the whole school o Took a list of the children that would like to come up – Reviewed the songs o Everyone is confident with the actions – Completed our communication rights/total communication poster |

· Mrs Benson to remind Mr O’Neil to ask communication group to come to front of assembly · Mrs Benson will put the posters up around the school · Mrs Benson will collect some children to record more videos for the sign of the month |

· What is total communication? · Lanyards – group decided it would be useful for each member to have a lanyard – we picked what symbols would be useful · We discussed using whiteboards for children to be able to draw their needs and wants · We discussed using sound buttons on class displays so everyone can access the information on these · We talked about Makaton at assemblies and introducing a school Makaton sign of the week |
