We also enjoyed seeing our art work displayed in the Woodland Art Gallery.

We have also been enjoying our Forest School sessions with Mrs Lochhead.

During October we have some great fun at the P7 Spooktacular Event.

We have been continuing to have fun at Forest School.

In Literacy we have been using our magnetic boards to make 3 letter words and we are great at ‘stretching’ out the sounds .

We had a fun filled December, between our fantastic Nativity, the Christmas Fayre and our Christmas party with our special visitor.

This term we will be learning Mandarin with Weiming  and so far we are really enjoying learning new phrases and words.

Some great number work in Primary 1.

Ordering numbers within 10.

The children were busy on World Book day completing lots of tasks about the  The Gingerbread Man story,

We  loved getting dressed up as our favourite book characters.

Literacy

We are becoming very confident at reading and writing CVC words and we are having great fun using the magnetic boards to help.

We have also been using CVC headbands to play our partner game.

TECHNOLOGY

We have been learning to sew, and we practised threading a needle and sewing on paper. We are learning to sew a running stitch and are making felt glove puppets.  We can’t wait to show you our fantastic creations when they are completed.
