Welcome to Room 5

Welcome to Room 5’s webpage. All the children have settled well into Primary 1 and their new school environment.

In our class the adults are:

Miss Smith (Class Teacher)

Mrs Cleland, Miss Donnachie (Monday-Wednesday) and Mrs Cassidy (Thursday-Friday) (Support staff)

General Information: 

• Our sensory gym days are Tuesday and Wednesday.
• Our Forest School day will be on a Monday afternoon with Mrs Lochhead. Please provide outdoor clothing and appropriate footwear for your child to change into.
• We will use diaries to communicate with parents and carers and keep you updated on the learning and fun we have been having in class each day.
• On a Friday morning Miss Learmonth will be in class covering Miss Smith.

Our Learning: 

On a Tuesday and a Wednesday children have had lots of fun at sensory gym exploring all the different equipment.

On a Monday children have participated in forest school with Mrs Lochhead and have been able to explore the woods area and trim trail.

 

 

 

 

 

In class children have used a range of tools and resources to explore mark making.
