At this weeks assembly we discussed Article 39.
Article 39 states:
You have the right to help if you have been hurt,
neglected, or badly treated.
We looked at the people who could help us if we had fallen or had been injured.
This includes our office staff; Mrs Barkins and Mrs McGhee and it also includes our staff who are First Aid trained; Mrs Crossan and Mrs Good.
We also discussed who could help if we were having difficulties with our friends. This included Mrs Winters-McCann, Mr O’Neill, Miss Burns, our Suupport Staff who are in the playground and also our Wellbeing Co-ordinators for each department.
Infant Area – Mrs McDonald
Junior Area – Mrs Dunbar
Senior Area – Mrs Stewart
The teachers also nominated children to receive Gold Awards, the certificates can be viewed below.
