Orkney Library & Archive

Orkney Library & Archive online resources are available for you to use. Some will require a library membership. Membership cards can be picked up from the school library, or you could go into the Stromness or Kirkwall library yourself. Your will require your parent’s signature.

• Britannica An abbreviated (short) version of the full Encyclopedia Britannica which, if you have Orkney Library & Archive membership, can view via their website.

• Encyclopedia of of Western Signs & Ideograms
• CIA World Factbook
• The Churchill Archive (Subscription – free until 2020) Access should be automatic when using school computers.
