Our WBD event, despite perceived lack of interest prior to it, went ahead on Thursday 5th March. Held at lunchtime as a ‘drop-in’ session, over twenty pupils came and listened to extracts from books read by Mrs Sinclair. Pupils also enjoyed some snacks and received free £1 tokens which they could exchange for the special WBD £1 books or in part exchange for the books on sale on our Peedie Book Fair (courtesy of Stromness Books & Prints).
