The name for Ogilvie House is derived from St. John Ogilvie who is remembered today for the values by which he lived his life. He is particularly regarded as a man of Faith, Courage and Forgiveness and we have chosen these three attributes to represent our House and to help guide us through our daily lives at St. Andrew’s High School. During a recent focus group meeting, pupils from Ogilvie House identified Faith as our principal value because they feel that it reminds us that we do not have to face challenges alone because we have God to support and guide us. They also feel that we should remember to have faith in our personal talents in order that we may reach our potential in our studies and other aspects of our school life.
Expectations are high and we are all looking forward to a new term filled with enthusiasm and purpose.
