Good morning everyone I hope you’re all well today, did you listen to all those knew tricky words in yesterday’s story? Some of them sounded a bit funny didn’t they?
Let’s have our story today which is all about a big highland cow called Hungry Hettie.

Poor Hettie just couldn’t resist all that lovely food could she? One of the things which she liked was the packed lunch. If you had a packed lunch what would you put in yours? Sandwiches? An apple? A drink? A cake? My favourite kind of cake is a chocolate crispy cake so here is the link to show the recipe for how to make Crispy cakes I hope you enjoy them.

Did you think it was funny when Hungry Hettie ate the washing off the line? I really laughed at that bit. I think we should make our own washing line. You will need
Some pegs
Some string or ribbon
Socks
Pens
Ask someone to help you draw a number on each peg
Arrange them in order
Match the socks into pairs and put them on your washing line

Our song today is Three Craws
Three craws sat upon a waw
Sat upon a waw
Sat upon a waw
Three craws sat upon a waw on a cauld and frosty morning

The first craw couldnae flee at aw
Couldnae flee at aw
Couldnae flee at aw
The first craw couldnae flee at aw on a cauld and frosty morning

The second craw fell and broke his jaw
Fell and broke his jaw
Fell and broke his jaw
The second craw fell and broke his jaw on a cauld and frosty morning

The third craw flew to tell her maw
Flew to tell her maw
Flew to tell her maw
The third craw flew to tell her maw on a cauld and frosty morning

The fourth craw wisnae there at aw
Wisnae ther at aw
Wisnae there at aw
The fourth craw wisnae there at aw on a cauld and frosty morning

Here’s the link for you to listen to how the Singing kettle sang this great song…
