Good morning everyone I hope you had a lovely peaceful weekend. Let’s get started a new week of home learning; we’ll begin today with a story called Don’t hog the Hedge.

https://glowscotland-my.sharepoint.com/:v:/g/personal/gw09carsonsara2_glow_sch_uk/EX6GhPtF0jlHgMJy7wP6HrEBxdDZ5GEGirdZ4eStW5Dlag?e=FXZ7k8

Lots of little hedgehogs will still be having their big long sleep just now so lets make some with our dough / Plasticine
You will need some dough, twigs or little bits of stick and something to use as eyes.
You can use your dough to roll and press into the shape of a little round hedgehog, give him some spikes on his back and googly eyes or beads/buttons instead.

Now let’s brush up on those number and ordering skills. You can either use the hedgehogs you have just made or cut out some paper ones. Ask for help to draw some numbers on each hedgehog then try to put the correct number of pegs on his back as his prickles

Our song for today is I’m a little hedgehog

I’m a little hedgehog
Brown and small
Very prickly
Not that tall
When I’m feeling frightened
Away I crawl
And curl up into a ball

I’m a little hedgehog
Build my nest
When it’s autumn
Leaves are best
If you build a bonfire
Have you guessed?
Check inside I’m having a rest

An extra little story for you to relax, watch and listen to after all our busy work today. this story is all about Harold the hedgehog, enjoy…
