Primary 2 have been learning about  Queen Victoria within their Victorians topic and have been drawing comparisons between modern day life and life during the Victorian times. They were investigating Victorian clothes and toys and made their very own cup and ball toy. They looked at how children in the past had to work and discussed how the Rights of the Child are very different now days.

On Tuesday we celebrated by making our own Fruity Pancakes and the children thoroughly enjoyed them! We looked at what Lent means and how we can focus on Prayer, Giving and Fasting during the 40 days of Lent.

Next week we are celebrating Book Week! Children are encouraged to bring in their favourite books to share and discuss throughout the week.

Have a great weekend!
