We have been busy getting ready for our Christmas Craft Fayre which takes place on Saturday 1st December at 10am until 1pm. It’s guaranteed to get you in the festive spirit. Please check school bags for Christmas Fayre posters made in class. P3 are selling stunning Christmas baubles with chocolate treats inside and beautifully coloured angels for your Christmas tree.
We have also been busy learning notes for the glockenspiel, singing our songs and memorising our lines for this year’s Nativity, ‘Little Angel Gets Her Wings’. Our Nativity will be performed on Monday 10th December.
This is always a busy time but we are still working hard in Numeracy, Literacy and all other areas of the curriculum. In Numeracy we are beginning to look at patterns when we repeatedly add 5 or 10 to any number. In Literacy we are continuing to work on answering comprehension questions in sentences. Our ‘Food, Glorious, Food’ topic made us feel hungry 😋 as we were discussing our favourite dinners. Next week we’ll learn about the ‘Eat Well’ plate.
