Dive into September

We have had another busy and exciting week this week in Primary 5h! We have completed our novel ‘The Invisible Boy’ and look forward to starting our new novels next week. For Story Writing we wrote imaginative stories about an Octopus who goes missing, they are full of suspense and adventure. In Maths we have been working on  strategies to help us with our multiplication, we have looked at number facts and have been adding and subtracting 10s and 100s.

We have continued our ‘Oceans and Seas’ Topic, this week we have learned about the different zones in the ocean. We then experimented ‘Ocean in a Bottle’ we created the different distinct layers, it was very messy and fun!

It was great to see so many parents at the Open Evening last night, everybody enjoyed seeing our classroom and all of the hard work we have been doing during the first few weeks of the school year. Thanks for reading our class blog!
