Welcome to our very first blog of Primary 3. We have had an extremely busy week getting to know each other as well as working hard.

In Maths we have been revising numbers to 100 and talking about and working with tens and units. We played a great game to help called ‘Shark Bite’.

In Literacy we have been ‘verb spotting’ in a big book called ‘The Donkey that Sneezed’. We were amazing at this and could verb spot in any book we are reading at home.

We have been very busy setting up our ‘Vets & Pets’ play area. Everyone is looking forward to having a turn to play there during planning board play. On Friday in ‘Vets and Pets’, visiting dogs 🐶 looked like perfect pooches after a spot of pampering from our groomers. You’ll be able to see some photos at our open evening.

Our topic is ‘The Seasons’ and this week we designed group name labels and voted for our favourite. We are excited to learn more about the seasons and watch as they change in the coming weeks.
