Forest Kindergarten

This term the Nursery Team are  planning to start our outdoor learning by taking the children on walks to woodlands in the area surrounding the school where we hope to do a variety of activities such as making shelters, collecting interesting articles to take back to nursery and looking for changes in the environment.

This is as a result of a course Yvonne attended on Forest Kindergarten which encourages and promotes taking children outdoors to extend their learning, gain confidence and enjoy the health benefits of being outside in the fresh air, and most of all have lots of fun.
