This morning, we said goodbye to our beautiful butterflies as it was time to set them free. Everyone got a chance to hold one before they flew off into the fresh air. Goodbye butterflies. We will miss you all!

All of our caterpillars have now form their chrysalis so today, we transferred them into their hatching habitat. They will remain here until they hatch out into beautiful butterflies.

Over the weekend, many of our caterpillars have started to form their chrysalis. They are now hanging upside down from the top of their cups. Once they have all reached this stage, we will move them into their hatching habitat.

Well, our caterpillars seem to have spent the evening eating again as they are quite obviously bigger again this morning. It is exciting checking on them when we come into class.
