Gowkthrapple is situated just off Castlehill Road between Wishaw and Overtown. Castlehill PS is on one side of the housing estate and close by, at the other end, is Clyde Valley High School.
The High School is only a ten minute walk through the estate from the Primary School. This is very useful as the children often walk to it when Primary/Secondary initiatives are taking place and/or liaison arrangements are organised.
