Parents Portal – Digital Communication 

In support of North Lanarkshire Council’s ambition to continue improvements in parental communications and its broader Digital NL plans North Lanarkshire Council have been working with national organisations to develop a “Parents Portal”.

The portal has been and will continue to be developed to provide parents with a clear insight to their child’s education and to support transactional communications between parents and the school, this includes attendance, reports and school information.

Further details will follow as these services become available and the best way to make them available to you is for you to sign up to the portal.

This portal will become one of the main communications between schools and parents across North Lanarkshire Council and we encourage you to sign up to this service if you have not already done so.  It is a one stop shop to many of our current and future communications.

DYW NEWSLETTER 2

Here is the second edition of the DYW newsletter.  Parents / carers and pupils can be kept up to  date about the work of DYW in the school and any career related opportunities available.

Future Fridays -Session 2023-24

Future Fridays extra-curricular activities start after school on Friday 25th August: Handball (S1-4), Fun Football (S1/2), Board Games (S1-6). For parents/carers of S5/6 pupils:

Future Fridays Leadership Academy for S5/6 pupils. The Leadership Academy will provide you with training in your chosen area, and give you the chance to lead sessions with younger pupils. Choose from: Sports, Creative Arts, Digital, STEM, Enterprise, Dance, Mindset & Wellbeing. S5/6 pupils on the programme will also have the opportunity to gain an additional Level 5/6 SQA qualification. See Miss Small to sign up. Starts 1st September.

 

First Day Arrangements

All pupils should attend their House Time class tomorrow period 1. Click below for a list of all the classes and the associated member of staff.

Our new S1 will be met by their House Time Teacher in the social area and will be accompanied to their class.

We are all really excited to welcome everyone back for session 2023/24.
