The Student Award Agency Scotland (SAAS) handles all the fees, funding and loan situation for pupils going into further/higher education. Admittedly, this can seem like a bit of a minefield, meeting application deadlines, completing paperwork etc. SAAS are running an event to try to simplify this process for parents/carers.

These sessions will:
- explain the funding available from SAAS for those planning to undertake higher education courses (HNC/HND/Degree courses); and
- provide information on the repayment of student loans; and
- provide advice on how and when to submit a funding application to SAAS; and
- have a funding awareness advisor available who can answer any questions that attendees may have.
If your young person is planning to go to college or university at the end of this school session, then this is definitely for you.”
