On Tuesday 6th of October, the school held an awards ceremony for our senior pupils to recognise and celebrate their hard work from the previous session. It was not the usual Braidhurst prize-giving ceremony, but the event allowed the school community to praise our pupils who produced a high standard of work by consistently applying themselves. Each pupil received a certificate and a photograph was taken for them to take home.
Last session we had two pupils who achieved our DUX award: Olivia Biggart and Cameron May. We are delighted for them both.
Our award winners in S4 were:

The school wishes all of our prize winners a huge congratulations.
Congratulations to our senior pupils who were recently appointed to the position of house captain and prefect. The successful pupils for the house captain position are as follows: Sharleen Brandt and Emily Irvine are the house captains of Atholl house, Ellie McNeil and Eve Nicholson for Lorne house, Ellie Brady and Lauren Wright for Morven house, and Chloe Henderson and Craig Campbell for Rannoch house.
Our prefects this year are responsible for an area within the school that they can represent and help to increase pupil engagement – Karis Cowan will act as our World of Work and Pupil Council ambassador, Ellie McCoull is our Pupil Equity Fund and Rights Respecting School ambassador, Jennifer Smith is our Technology ambassador, Logan Holbourne is our Pupil Equity Fund and Rights Respecting School ambassador, Lauryn Buddy will act as our Pupil Equity Fund, Technology and School of Netball ambassador whilst Olivia Biggart is our School of Netball, World of Work and Pupil Council ambassador. We also have Sophie Merrilees who will be assisting with Pupil Equity Fund, Ellie Murphy who is our Rights Respecting School, Pupil Equity Fund and Pupil Council ambassador and finally Man-Ching Kwok who is out Maths Ambassador
Once again well done to all of our successful seniors and good luck for the coming school year.
Due to the continued support and generosity of our staff the school was recently able to send out another 23 food parcels to some of our most vulnerable families. This initiative was organised by the Pupil Equity Fund committee who were ably assisted by some of our house captains and prefects: Lauryn, Eve, Sophie, and our three Ellie’s. Thank you to all who donated non-perishable items and to our senior girls for their help with packing and distribution.
Unfortunately we weren’t able to hold our BGE info evening this year… so we made a video instead
