School Facilities

The school buildings are modern and have bright and attractive interiors well suited for current educational needs. The main building is a two storey block containing teaching rooms, two gymnasiums, science laboratories, a cafeteria/dining room, a library/resource base, technological workshops, learning support area, a Nurture hub, a nursery, a drama studio and a theatre/assembly hall. It is also linked by an enclosed bridge to the four story tower block containing further teaching accommodation, a computer suite and art and design studios including pottery room. The business studies department, also housed in the main building enjoys the most up-to-date facilities possible. Wet weather facilities for pupils are also available in this building.

The Braidhurst sportsbarn is a large indoor facility which provides opportunities for a wide range of sporting facilities. It is available for use by physical education classes and school sports clubs and is capable of accommodating indoor soccer, handball, volleyball, netball, basketball and badminton. There are dressing room and shower facilities in the building. Recent facility upgrades mean that we have a full sized, floodlit, 3G Astro Turf pitch used by the school and wider community. A pavilion/dressing room area has been built at the front of the school to provide changing areas for this outdoor facility.
