Pupil Equity Fund

Through the use of Pupil Equity Funding, we aim to ensure that all pupils, irrespective of background or any and all barriers to learning, get the best of what is offered at Braidhurst High School, both in the classroom and beyond.

Where possible, our Pupil Equity Fund allocation has been spent on extra staffing to support pupils.  Mrs Hunter (Maths) responsible for the school’s approach to Pupil Equity Funding.  She works closely together to ensure that the principle of equity is applied to all aspects of school life. We also have Mrs Anderson (Transition Teacher).

Pupil Equity Funding is already benefiting our pupils, enriching their school experience and ensuring that all pupils are given the support they need to realise their potential.   Some of the initiatives and interventions the fund is being used for are detailed below:
