Reading
Mrs Manning would like you to focus on the 2 books allocated to you the week before the Easter holidays. If you have not already done so read the books and answer the bug club questions which appear as you are reading. I can check and keep a record that you have completed the book on Bug Club and of your score for the comprehension test for each book.

Writing Activity
What fun things were you doing in the Easter holidays? Write a personal account of what you did during the Easter holidays.
Remember When? Where? Who? What? Why? Try and use interesting openers and connectives in your sentences. Also Can you use adjectives to add detail and make your story interesting? How did everyone feel?
Remember to punctuate sentences accurately with capital letters and full stops.

Next Steps:
Once we understand more about sound a big part of our learning will be researching how animals use sound to communicate. I felt this fitted in really well with our Rainforest topic and I think it will be a really interesting topic for us to learn about.
