Monday 20th April

Good morning and a warm welcome back. I hope that you all enjoyed the Easter break and managed to have some fun together in the sunshine, despite such challenging times.

Similar to before the break, the staff in Lewis Class will continue to post ideas and suggestion for activities you might like to do with your child at home, however please do not feel under any obligation to carry these out as we understand how challenging these times are for everyone.  I have attached a learning intention and a two visual schedule for today’s suggested “helping to prepare” lunch activity.

Furthermore if you would like to discuss activities more specific to your child, please do not hesitate to contact the Lewis Class team.

Have a good day

Skye Class Scavenger Hunt

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all well and staying safe. Today I have set a wee challenge for you all 🙂 As the weather is so nice and dry lets get wrapped up and get out in the Garden. I have attached a link to a nature scavenger hunt that has some great items you can find in your garden or whilst you are out getting your daily exercise. You can find one item or find a few and count out each item you find. Good Luck

Hello Mull Class

P.E Boys

P.E Girls

Writing Programme Instructions

Writing Programme Powerpoint

Hello everyone,

Tuesday morning is P.E. morning in Mull class. I have uploaded the P.E. programme that the boys have been working on and the P.E programme that the girls have been working on so that the programmes can be continued at home if it suits. The girls P.E. lesson is on a power point. If you play the slideshow and click on the links the music should work. Alternatively you can use your own music.

Every Tuesday afternoon Mull class work through their writing programme. I have uploaded our programme so that this can be followed at home too. Again, as it is a power point you will need to play the slideshow for the link to work.

Keep reading your book of the week every day and keep developing those functional skills and independence skills through daily chores and snack preparation.

All of the above is completely optional for you to dip into as you wish!

Have a great Tuesday everyone and stay safe and healthy.

Haysholm Superstars

What a fantastic morning we had celebrating the achievements of our children and young people.  They truly are ‘Superstars’.  Not only did everyone do great receiving their certificate, the class performances were amazing.  Based on the theme of ‘Singing Hands’, we had singers, signers, dancers and musicians.  Thank you to everyone who turned out to support us.

Education Scotland Visit

Education Scotland inspectors will be visiting our school week the beginning 15th of April.  They wish to gather views of our parents/carers, therefore we would very much appreciate if you can complete the online survey, link below

Please have your say as we wish to continue to improve our school to ensure that your child receives the best possible education.
