The Elderbank Primary School Parent Council is a group of parents and carers who work in partnership with the school to support the education and well-being of all pupils. The council serves as a bridge between the parent community and the school leadership, offering a platform for parents to express views, share ideas, and contribute to school improvement.
Typically, the Parent Council meets every 6 weeks to discuss school policies, fundraising initiatives, events, and school performance and improvement. While it is not a decision-making body, the council plays an important advisory and supportive role, helping to ensure that the school reflects the values and needs of its families.
If you have a child at the school, then you are more than welcome to join us.
