Attendance at Nursery

We encourage regular attendance at nursery so that children can  develop friendships, learn new skills and experience new opportunities.

However, we understand that children can become unwell and may need to spend a few days at home to recover. If a child will be absent from nursery we kindly ask that you contact us to let staff know.

If your child is absent from nursery and we have not heard from you, we will give you a quick call.  In the, unlikely, event that we do not hear from you we will then call those listed on your child’s emergency contact information.

This procedure is in line with Inverclyde Council’s Attendance policy and is designed to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children.
