January 2020

We interviewed Andrew and Lucie from P4/5. They both really enjoyed the art exhibition; the artist they studied was Robert Kelvin, using cuboid techniques. The Scottish learning they are doing is looking at Scottish inventors and making facts about them on PowerPoint. The maths they’ve been learning is money in their jotters and mental maths. They do not have a class novel with their current teacher, and they just take a random book from the library to read but both of them are enjoying it. The other learning they have been doing is grammar. They enjoyed the country dancing festival.

November 2019

We interviewed Maddie and Josh from  P4/5. Maddie is going to audition for the Talent Show coming up soon – she is going to sing with her friend Lucy. Josh is not going audition, but some of his friends are. He does not know what they are going to preform but he thinks they will do great! They are really looking forward to the show. In literacy they are reading “This Morning I Met a Whale“ and are doing some comprehension on the side. They are really liking it! On Bonfire Night they coincidentally went to see the fireworks together. They did some art about fireworks in class. Maddie is reading “ The Longest Whale Song “ for personal enjoyment. Josh is reading Harry Potter – they both think their books are very interesting. Their class topic is SCOTTISH INVENTORS – they are not sure if they like the topic itself, but they like the debates they are doing!! 🙂
