Dear Parents and Carers,
As we reach the end of another busy and successful term at Wallacewell Primary School, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our families for your continued support throughout the year. Your encouragement and partnership make a real difference to our school community and to the experiences of our children.
I hope that everyone enjoys a restful and relaxing Easter break, with plenty of time to recharge and spend time together.
We would like to extend a sincere thank you to our Parent Council for their kindness and generosity in providing an Easter treat for every child in the school. These will be given out on the last day of term and are very much appreciated by us all.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Easter without a few jokes to share with the children:
- Why did the Easter egg hide?
Because it was a little chicken! 🐣 - What kind of stories do Easter eggs like best?
Yolk tales! 🥚 - Why shouldn’t you tell an Easter egg a joke?
It might crack up!
You might even want to challenge your child to come back after the holidays with a new Easter joke to share with their class!
To accompany this message, you will find our Annual School Calendar for the remainder of the school year. The calendar was introduced this year to provide families with as much advance notice as possible of key events and activities taking place across the school.
It is important that families check the calendar carefully and add any relevant dates to their own diaries. While the school will continue to send emails and invitations as reminders ahead of events, the calendar provides a helpful overview of what is planned for the months ahead.
Thank you once again for your continued support of Wallacewell Primary School. We look forward to welcoming everyone back after the holidays for another exciting and productive term.
Wishing you all a very Happy Easter and a well-deserved break.
