P7B Class News – Term 2

Literacy

This term in literacy we are reading the Novel Divided City by Theresa Breslin. We will be basing our reading, writing and talking & listening on this text.

 

Numeracy

For term 2 we will be focusing on number & place value, fractions, decimals and percentages in numeracy.

 

Topic

Our topic for term 2 is Glasgow – as this links closely to our Novel study “Divided City”. We will be learning about Glasgow landmarks, Sectarianism and Religion.

Monday – Pitch

Tuesday – Swimming

Wednesday – Assembly

Thursday – Gym

Friday – Gym / Buddies

 

Other

Wednesday morning is parent drop-in with SLT for any concerns.

We have music from CREATE Glasgow every Thursday morning for 4 weeks.

Wood wind instructor every Thursday afternoon and Brass specialist every Friday afternoon.
