The Parent Council is a group of parent/carers selected by members of the parent body to represent all the parents/carers of children and young people at the school. The Parent Council can co-opt other members from teachers and the community who have knowledge and skills to help them.
Our Parent Council comprises of:
8 Parent Members
1 Teaching representative
1 Support Staff representative
2 local community representatives
Any parent of a child at the school can volunteer to be a member of the Parent Council. Where there are more nominations than places available, a draw will be held. The Parent Council will be selected for a period of 2 years with and option to extend to three years after which they may put themselves forward for re-selection if they wish. Hyndland Parent Council can be contacted by addressing the secretary who is currently Nadia Miller c/o the school.
