This active, outdoor event aims to inspire lecturers to work creatively out of doors, developing interdisciplinary skills with creative approaches. The event will also offer an opportunity to develop an understanding of the John Muir Award and how this can be used to enhance learners’ skill and qualifications. A major feature of the day will be designing and carrying out activities including shelter building, generating ideas of how to use this as potential evidence for assessment.
