Dining Hall Refurbishment
S4/5 Options Information Evening
Mr Phillips and Ms O’Donnell have sent home a letter inviting fourth and fifth year parents and carers to an Options Information Evening which will take place on Monday 2nd February.
The evening will take the form of a presentation covering the choices which require to be made by pupils as they progress into S5/S6, the support offered by the school in making these choices and the nature of the S5/S6 curriculum.

Parent Equalities Forum
The first meeting of the Parent Equalities Forum will take place on Thursday 15 January in Woodfarm High School at 7pm.
The main item on the agenda will be the Education Department’s Equalities Delivery Plan.

Mearns Castle pupils become journalists for a day
Pupils from S6, S5, S3 and S2 have been busy putting together a report of their visit to the Emirates Arena for the BBC Get Inspired Sports event. They are currently editing their content and working hard with staff from BBC Scotland to meet their strict deadline. The whole report will go live on the BBC School Report website for the December practice news day by this afternoon so watch this space!!
