S1 Showcase Event MCHS

S1 pupils had the opportunity to select from a wide range of clubs and activities at this year’s ‘Showcase Event’. Staff and senior pupils set up their stalls and had great fun encouraging our new S1 to join their clubs/activities. As always the range of clubs on offer at the school continues to grow, some of the groups in attendance were:

Philosophy Club, Lego History Club, Connect 4 Club, Scripture Union, Crypto crackers, Debating Club, PE Sports Clubs, Rights Respecting Schools Group, Science Club, Chess Club, Cheerleading, LGBTQ+, Chinese Club, Shinty Club, Sewing Club, Creative Writing, Music Clubs and the Engineering Club.

AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS

We are once again running After School Clubs next session. Entry into each club is on a first come, first served basis. Please note the start date of your chosen club. Clubs will run for the noted number of weeks and the number of weeks offered may differ due to various events. Clubs offered will take place every week unless the coach instructs the pupils otherwise in advance. If a club does not attract sufficient interest then there is a possibility that the club will be cancelled.

If your child would like to attend any of the After School Clubs, please complete the slip and return it to the school office by Wednesday 4 September 2019. There is no charge for pupils in receipt of Free School Meals or Clothing Grant. You will receive an email informing you that your child has a place in their chosen club and the club payment item will be added to your Parent Pay account.

Deadline for payment is Thursday  12 September 2019.

After School Clubs Next Session

We are once again running After School Clubs next session. Entry into each club is on a first come, first served basis. Please note the start date of your chosen club. Clubs will run for the noted number of weeks and the number of weeks offered may differ due to various events.

If your child would like to attend any of the After School Clubs, please complete the slip and return it to the school office by Thursday 28 March 2019. There is no charge for pupils in receipt of Free School Meals or Clothing Grant. You will receive an email week beginning 15 April informing you that your child has a place in their chosen club and the club payment item will be added to your Parent Pay account.

Deadline for payment is Tuesday 23 April 2019.
