Our S1 reporters have been busy putting together their news reports in preparation for News Day on the 10th of March 2016.
They have visited the BBC on the 7th of March and a had chat with Jackie Bird. Their videos are now in the process of being edited so watch this space for the full version of their interview.
S1 celebrated World Book Day yesterday. The whole year-group were dressed up as characters from some of their favourite books and were involved in a number of activities finishing with a quiz in the theatre. Congratulations to the winners – Sutherland who came 1st in the quiz, Ramsay 2nd and Balmoral 3rd.

Thank you to Miss McEachern and the English Department for running this event – S1 had a fantastic afternoon.
Pupils in Mrs MacBride’s and Mr McLean’s National 5 English classes are studying Alan Spence’s play “Sailmaker.”
The classes are going to see a production of this play is in Eastwood Park Theatre on Wednesday 28 October 2015.

Pupils from S6, S5, S3 and S2 have been busy putting together a report of their visit to the Emirates Arena for the BBC Get Inspired Sports event. They are currently editing their content and working hard with staff from BBC Scotland to meet their strict deadline. The whole report will go live on the BBC School Report website for the December practice news day by this afternoon so watch this space!!
