Supported Study for critial essay writing
As preparation for the English Intermediate 2 Prelim Paper 2 Critical Essay, pupils in S4 Intermediate 2 classes have been invited to a Supported Study session after school on Monday 18th November or Monday 25th November. The purpose of this session is to allow pupils to gain pre-exam experience of writing two critical essays in the set time of one and a half hours. Pupils will commence writing their first essay during period 7 in their English class, then remain in class to write their second essay after school. This event will allow pupils to experience important aspects of the exam such as the selection of two relevant questions, planning the essays and using their time appropriately. The class teacher will return the essays with a mark and a short comment before the prelim diet begins
