We welcomed approximately 32 families along to our Come and Play evening on Thursday 6th November, 2025.
Children and families could play together while staff informally shared the benefits of the play opportunities in Glenwood.
This was a wonderful evening and parents and children alike gave us amazing feedback.
We asked the children what they thought of the event-
- Good. I liked Daddy drawing with me.
- I loved the bikes and seeing my friends.
- I liked making my pizza – it was yummy.
- Good. I liked it when we were making the play doh and when I was making the pizza. Nonna and the boys went on the training bike.
- (My son) loved the event and didn’t want to leave. The fire alarm is the only reason we got him out! He talked about going back to nursery all night and has told family about all the activities.
- I liked being at nursery when it was dark. I liked showing Mummy my nursery room.
- I liked showing my mum the bikes – it was fun.
- Fun wants to go back.
- Good. Made a rattle with the hammers and nails.
- Enjoying showing mummy and daddy his nursery.
- (My daughter) loved showing me all the activities she does at nursery.
- I liked making the pizza and I also like doing the screws and the wood.
- I had fun reading my books with you and building big stuff.
- I love my new nursery.
