We dressed up and enjoyed lots of activities on World Book Day. We took part in a scavenger hunt, read the funny story, ‘Aliens Love Underpants’, created playdoh aliens and iced alien flying saucer biscuits which we had for snack. At drama we roleplayed ‘Animal Boogie’ and enjoyed book sharing and a story box.
We have celebrated World Book Day within the Oak class with a Jungle Book Theme. Â We were all successful learners and confident individuals answering questions about the book and acting out the animals. We completed a book review stating our favourite scene from the book and our favourite character.
We took part in some jungle experiments, one was successful and one was unsuccessful.
