Willowbank School, KilmarnockWe had great fun this morning taken part in our virtual music lesson with Drake music. We were all successful learners whilst being effective contributors and working well together to make some music. We can’t wait until next week.
We worked hard in December to design and create some Christmas gifts for our families.
We voted on what gifts to make and were responsible citizens by sharing resources.
Today we explored balance by building castle inspired towers using different materials.
We were successful learners and observed the towers wobbling, carefuly adjusting the pieces to make them balance again.

The Daisies class enjoyed listening to our theme story “Thistle Street”. We enjoyed meeting all of the characters and seeing the homes and shops found on Thistle Street.
We explored Google Maps and tried to find our houses on our streets. We loved exploring our familiar areas and took turns travelling around our towns. Some of us showed our friends our local sweet shops, takeaway shops or where their family members live.
