50 Things – Making a Scarecrow

The Sungazers have had great fun designing and making a scarecrow for our sensory garden.  We stuffed clothing with shredded paper, helped to draw and colour in a face and used wool to make his hair.

Sensory Snowdrops

Effective Contributors/Confident Individuals

The Snowdrops have shown lots of interest in using their fingers to explore and make patterns in wet sensory textures.  We used flour, cocoa powder and water to create edible mud for our farm animals!  It was very messy fun but great to explore and play with.

Focused Area of Learning – Eco – Gender Equality

* SUCCESSFUL LEARNERS *

The Planets class enjoyed looking closely at a range of superheroes. We watched clips of Spiderman and Catwoman. We had lots of discussions about their superhero costume, their logo and their super powers.

We looked at a range of superhero images and sorted them into boy and girl categories. We decided that they all made great superheroes and turned ourselves into superheroes!

Some of us said they would want to fly, some would be invisible and some wanted super shrinking powers!
