Willowbank School, KilmarnockThe Stars class have had a good ‘Play on the longest day’ week. We created nature’s crowns, painted with natural paint brushes, did leaf printing, had a picnic in the garden, planted peas and green beans, did number work, had a colour treasure hunt, played on the playground equipment and had story time. We had a busy and enjoyable week.
The Stars class made bird feeders to feed to hungry birds in our sensory garden during the cold weather. We mixed together lard and bird seed then filled yogurt pots we’d saved from snack time. The pots were tied up high around the garden for the birds to access.
