The Bluebells class had a surprise visit from Elfie this week. He arrived with a letter from the North Pole saying that he was Santa’s friend and was here watching for kindness in the Bluebells classroom. Of course Elfie has witnessed this lots already this week 
Unfortunately, Elfie has had to learn about following the school rules as this week he has been stealing our snacks and he also hid some of our furniture!!!

The Snowdrops had lots of Christmas fun on our outing this week, when we went ten pin bowling. Everyone enjoyed taking turns at bowling and there were lots of cheers and thumbs up for knocking down the skittles!
The Stars Class created chocolate Santa sleighs to sell at the Christmas Market. They were made of candy canes, chocolate and toffees. They sold really quickly. We also made an igloo snow globe display for the atrium.

The Bluebells class wrote their letters to Santa yesterday. We used the Smyths catalogue, scanned and cut out items we wanted and used these in our Santa letters.
We are excited to go and post them on Thursday
Confident individuals exploring the gymnastic apparatus with support from their buddies. The buddies are from St Andrew’s primary school and come every week to join the Bluebells at PE.

The Transition boys had an ideal opportunity to put their hospitality skills in use. They were Responsible Citizens when they helped set up the café area for the Christmas Market. For their SQA Hospitality class the boys must follow instructions and work to the best of their ability. All boys did a super job!
The Transition boys were Successful Learners when they used their numeracy skills to complete two tasks. They made origami Christmas craft following numbered sections and creating ‘up’ or ‘down’ folds. They then made different 3D shaped snowmen again following a numbered pattern and had to match their shapes to a different set on the interactive board. Well done boys!
