On Thursday 16th January SLC3 had a follow up visit to Dumfries House to further investigate electricity. We were given a tour of the house and explored how electricity has been developed throughout the years. We then created our own circuits using buzzers, motors and bulbs. We even managed to create a human circuit using the computer, the whole class were able to join in!

SLC3 Variety Club Christmas Party 2019
On Monday 2nd December our Supported Learning Centre was invited to the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow  for their annual Christmas party.   This year we had a buffet style lunch in class before heading up on the bus. We had great fun!
SLC with Morrison Construction
Our new school, the Barony Campus, is currently under construction. Caitlin from Morrison Construction recently visited us to work with a group of pupils from SLC2 and SLC3. They were asked to work in pairs or small groups discussing their ideas and design a plan for the new building. They then used the Lego bricks to build a model.
SLC Karate
Sensei Craig was in on Wednesday to offer classes a taster karate session. Some pupils from SLC2 and SLC3 participated, learning new moves and stand positions. They enjoyed listening to the Japanese commands and attempted counting in Japanese with their movements.
