P7 – New Lanark
Primary 7 visited New Lanark to learn more about the Victorians. The children were able to see inside a Victorian house, shop and school. The pupils visited the cotton mill, where they learned how cotton was made. We learned about the working conditions in the cotton mill during the Victorian times. Have a look at some of the fun we had!
SLC 1- Baking
As part of our literacy we are learning about recipe books and how they help us learn how to cook. We wrote a list of ingredients we needed and made corn flake cakes. Keep checking our bags on a Thursday for tasty treats we have made.
SLC 1 – World of Work
In SLC1 we looked at a range of different jobs we could do when we grow up. We had lots of fun pretending to be builders, teachers, cleaners, secretaries, hairdressers, doctors and window cleaners.
BBC Children in Need 2018
Barshare Primary has managed to raise a phenomenal £564.75 for Children in Need. Many thanks from the pupil council for all the kind donations and for purchasing our merchandise. Have a look at our Pudsey costumes.
