On Friday 6th October 2017, P5, 6 and 7 pupils from SLC 3 went to the Sportsability event at Ayrshire College in Kilmarnock. We got to take part in lots of different sports such as athletics, rugby, football, sitting volleyball, netball and dancing. We had such a great day trying out different sports and send a big thank you to all involved in organising the day. We can’t wait until next year!
P5, P6 and P7 had a visit from Judy Ferguson who works with Womans Aid. Judy was in to support our learning in Health and Wellbeing and was focusing on the importance of healthy and positive relationships. We will be seeing her again in a couple of weeks!
We had a technology filled day in P5 for No pens Wednesday. We made use of the ActivePanel to help us with our Numeracy and we also enjoyed using the laptops. Later that day we watched a video about the Battle of Stirling Bridge and discussed this with our peers.
