Primary 3 have been making the most of this sunny weather by going outdoors to search for and identify minibeasts. We have been searching in different habitats – on bark, under rocks, on plants and in the air. We found most minibeats in the long grass and under rocks. Our next step is to classify them according to whether they are insects or not.
SLC 1 went on a senses walk to use their senses of seeing.
Linking with the Tour of Ayrshire and The Big Pedal, P6 had great fun taking part in a cycling workshop! Primary 6 worked hard in teams to come up with a team name, a jersey and a new bike – they then got to test their cycling abilities outside!
P4 tested their skills in weight and measurement by going on a scavenger hunt around the school.
