At our Open Afternoon primary 4 used our new green screen. The children and some of their parents had lots of fun. Here are a couple of our photos but check the photo gallery for all the photos from the green screen from the day.
For the past 8 weeks, a small group of pupils from P4, P5, P6 and P7 have been working on a Raspberry Pi competition entry. The group (The Pi Pals) decided to create a device that could sense when the wearer was becoming annoyed and fidgeting. The Pi could pick up this signal and tell a small fan on the wearer’s wrist to turn on and blow a soothing cold breeze onto the wrist to calm down the wearer. We thought this would be a useful device for anyone who had autism, Tourette’s, or issues controlling their anger so that they could calm themselves down.
