This term in SLC 1 we have been working with Ross McFarlane a drama specialist to encourage our imagination and word choice by exploring stories we enjoy. Here we are having lots of fun investigating Room on the Broom.
P2 Steel Drum session
Primary 2 had lots of fun exploring steel drums with our visitors and had fun dancing to a variety of music. They finished off going around the hall dancing the conga.
P5 JavaScript Coding with BB-8!
“May the force be with you”
Primary 5 have been learning how to code using JavaScript blocks. We used a Star Wars theme to engage us with our learning. Everyone loved controlling and coding BB-8 using the iPads. We also used the ActivPanel and interactive whiteboard to work as a team to build our algorithms.
ActivPanel Competition Winners!
Before the summer holidays some of the boys and girls at Barshare Primary School entered a competition to win a brand new ActivPanel for the school. We were all very excited when we were selected as a winner! During the summer holidays our brand new ActivPanel was installed. We are all looking forward to using this fantastic piece of technology to help with our education. Well done Barshare pupils, you really are fantastic!

SLC 1 had lots of fun taking part in the Tough Mudder especially getting all wet and muddy.
