We are so grateful for our amazing donation to our class. Harry’s Gran (Janet Boyd) was so kind and brave completing a sponsored zip line for our class. In SLC 1 we decided that we would use the money to buy new toys . The kids have already had so much fun making a wish list of how to spend the money. We will keep you posted.
Our new school, the Barony Campus, is currently under construction. Caitlin from Morrison Construction recently visited us to work with a group of pupils from SLC2 and SLC3. They were asked to work in pairs or small groups discussing their ideas and design a plan for the new building. They then used the Lego bricks to build a model.
Sensei Craig was in on Wednesday to offer classes a taster karate session. Some pupils from SLC2 and SLC3 participated, learning new moves and stand positions. They enjoyed listening to the Japanese commands and attempted counting in Japanese with their movements.
Barshare Primary School raised £235.24 for children in need! We dressed up spotty and participated in ‘The Big Morning Move’ with Joe Wicks to raise money. Have a look at the fun we had!
Primary 7 attended the STEM centre at Dumfries House to learn about renewable energy. The pupils were able to create their own turbines to create energy! Look at the fun we had.
