Our class visited the Cook School in Kilmarnock. We followed instructions from the head chef Stuart to make scones. It was a messy job but we all had fun. Miss Robertson’s favourite part was when we got to taste our baking with jam, cream and berries.
A huge well done to everyone in our p6/7 dance troupe Energize. They have worked hard every Thursday after school to learn the routine for their performance tonight at the Palace Theatre in Kilmarnock. Special thanks to our formal pupil Eilidh Karimlar for her choreography. Excellent hard work and commitment shown by all!
Since winning our Cumnock cluster festival, our P4/5 basketball team competed at the East Ayrshire final. We visited the Ayrshire College and played against 6 other teams.
This morning the children from primary 4 and 5 who attended the Basketball after school club were invited to Cumnock Academy to participate in a competitive festival. We played against Logan, New Cumnock and Netherthird – and won! 1st place!! We will now go into the East Ayrshire final on 6th March
Yesterday the Supported Learning Centre attended the annual Variety Club Christmas party at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Glasgow. It was a fun afternoon filled with singing and dancing. The day was made extra special with a visit to McDonalds.
