We had a super morning at Cumnock Library with the visiting author, Alan Dapre. We enjoyed learning all about Porridge the Tartan Cat and the different adventures that he goes on. All books are available to borrow from the Cumnock Library!

SLC1 Sea Life Centre
As part of our topic under the sea we went to the Sea Life Centre at Loch Lomond. We had a lovely time and really enjoyed seeing all the different fish. We also really enjoyed getting to touch the star fish and shark eggs.
P4 – Football Skills
Recently we have been very lucky and have received coaching from members of Kilmarnock Football Club (KFC). Lewis and Ryan have helped us to develop our football skills and have worked with us to further develop our sense of sportsmanship /sportswomanship!
P3/4 Home Presentations
Primary 3/4 recently completed a home presentation about their class learning – food and farming. They had to choose which aspect of their learning to focus on and could choose how to present it. We have had models, books, word documents, pictures and labelled diagrams. I am overwhelmed with the effort from the children and the support from their adult helpers. Thank you very much.
P7 – Spectacular Spectrum Science
Primary 7 have been learning about the properties of light. We have been learning about Issac Newton’s discovery on the colour of light. We used prisms and torches to refract light so we could observe that light is made up of the different colours of the rainbow.
